Sylvanus Brown House The Sylvanus Brown House was built in 1758 and was moved to its present site in 1971. Sylvanus Brown was a woodworker, pattern maker (of wood patterns from which the metal pieces of textile and other machinery were cast), millwright, and dam builder.
