Split Pea Soup with Ham (2)

Baked Ham, Processed

1 ham, 5 to 10 pounds
1½ cups brown sugar
½ cup bread crumbs
1 tablespoon dry mustard
¼ teaspoon cloves
3 tablespoons white vinegar
1 can pineapple slices
20 whole cloves

Rinse the ham in warm water. Bake in a preheated 325F oven for about 25 minutes per pound, or until a meat thermometer indicates 160F. Take the ham out of the oven about one hour before it is done and cut diagonal slashes across the ham. Put on glaze (mixture of brown sugar, bread crumbs, vinegar and spices), add whole cloves at each diamond. Lay the pineapple slices on top of the ham. Bake for the remaining time.
