Wheaton Square Monument

Named in memory of Homer J Wheaton, killed WWI Feb 1918.

Wheaton Square is at the intersection of Grove and Salisbury Streets, near the Worcester Vocational School. It was named for Corporal Homer J. Wheaton, the first Worcester resident killed in World War I. Wheaton died February 27, 1918. He was killed in action, saving other lives.
