Lincoln Square, Worcester, World War One Memorial (1935). The Memorial consists of a circular stone platform with a flagpole at its center. The eastern half of the platform contains a semi-circular bench and wall which bear bas-reliefs and inscriptionsthat include the names of the major battles of World War I. This memorial was dedicated in November 1935 and was designed and built under the supervision of the World War I Memorial Commission.
