George-Étienne Cartier Monument

Located where the old Parliament Buildings stood, between upper and lower cities. In September 1920, premier Louis-Alexandre Taschereau inaugurated a monument to George-Étienne Cartier, prime minister of United Canada and one of the Fathers of the Canadian Confederation.
