Apponyi House
The cellars and the ground-floor of the newly reconstructed
premises of Apponyi Palace house the Museum of Viticulture. It
documents the history of viticulture, vine growing, grape harvesting
and processing in the territory of Bratislava from antiquity up to the
20th century.
The other floors accommodate the Period Rooms Museum. The first
floor is arranged as a grand piano nobile evoking an aristocratic
interior of the end of the 18th century. Some examples of furniture in
the interior of a town house at the end of the 18th and the end of the
19th centuries are displayed on the second floor.
